This working group comprises of leading IT academics and administrators of educational institutions. The group aims to establish a mechanism for recognition and accreditation of Pakistani educational institutions for various certificate and degree programs. An Accreditation Ordinance covering disclosure requirement, potential motivational measures available to the accrediting body, and the structure of the accrediting body is currently being drafted with an emphasis on the sustainability of the initiative. At the same time, the group also aims to define benchmarks that Pakistani educational institutions should meet.
